About the Opportunity

Bedford College now has an exciting opportunity for a Student Enrolment Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis. This role will be predominately located at the Norwest Campus with some travel to the Glebe campus as required. 

Reporting to the College Principal, as the Student Enrolment Coordinator you will be primarily responsible for generating and increasing student enrolments in all courses offered by the College. 

Your day-to-day duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Marketing the College to potential students;
  • Advising potential students (over the phone, via email and face-to-face) about all areas of enrolment; 
  • Conducting College tours with potential students;
  • Attending local and regional trade shows and marketing events in order to promote the College;
  • Liaising and maintaining relationships with school careers advisors and university partners;
  • Assisting with the maintenance of the College website, social media, publications and advertising; and
  • Maintenance of the College database.

About You

To be considered for this position you will have previous experience in a similar capacity within an educational institution. Tertiary qualifications in marketing, sales, business administration or similar will be highly regarded, but are not mandatory. 

This position requires a mix of public speaking, student engagement, business development and networking and as such, the ability to talk confidently and enthusiastically about the College will be essential to your success in the role. 

You will have a friendly, outgoing and approachable manner, be professional in your appearance and be comfortable building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders that will assist you in reaching your enrolment targets (ie High school career advisors).
