About the Role
ACG now has an opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join their Robina, Qld team on a full-time basis.
This is not a typical 9-5 role. This position is extremely varied and may see you travelling out to various airports, travelling locally and nationally, or assisting the design team in the office.
Some of your day-to-day duties may include (but will not be limited to):
- Conducting inspections on site for clients;
- Delivering quality outputs to meet client expectations;
- Overseeing quality assurance on various projects;
- Completing technical designs and producing drawings using AutoCAD;
- Ensuring subcontractors have completed jobs in a compliant manner in line with design specifications; and
- Liaising with stakeholders and internal personnel.
To be successful in this position, you need to have a Civil or Structural Engineering qualification and have advanced AutoCAD skills.
This is a unique position that requires candidates to have demonstrated experience overseeing the quality assurance of building and construction projects with exceptional drafting skills.
You will also need to be available to work on a 3 weeks on, 1 week off roster basis when working on construction projects.
Although not essential, it is highly desirable that candidates have previous airport experience.
Please note: Candidates will need to hold a current driver;s license and white card and be willing to undergo a criminal history check.
