About the Opportunity
Paine Machine is looking to hire a permanent full-time Field Service Machine Tool Technician with construction/maintenance millwright skills (NOC Code 7311) to install, repair and maintain high technology CNC metal cutting machines.
Based in Delta, BC, your territory will be BC, however, you will primarily work within the Lower Mainland.
To qualify for the job, you will have relevant technical training in combination with a minimum 10 years experience working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic systems.
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to listen to instructions are essential. A detail oriented individual, you will need to have good communication skills and a courteous manner. As well as having the ability to work autonomously you will need to be a helpful team member. Working knowledge of Doosan, Toshiba metal CNC lathes, machining centers and boring mills and Fanuc controls will be an asset, however additional training will be provided.
As travel is a requirement of field service work, you will also have a valid Driver’s License, as well as access to a reliable vehicle.
