Candidates will need to display excellent time management and organisational skills and will be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team whilst having sound verbal and written skills.

An intermediate level of computer skills (MS Office) is also required.

While not essential, candidates with some knowledge of medical/clinical terms and chronic disease are desirable. As is previous experience in an Aboriginal health setting with a knowledge of local community networks.

As this role may also include some data collection and reporting, candidates with this experience will also be highly regarded.

Marumali is seeking an adaptable and flexible individual who can display the initiative, discretion and cultural sensitivity needed to support and drive the organisation's objectives and values. You must be able to operate effectively within a cross-cultural, multi-disciplinary health team.

You will need to possess a keen interest in Indigenous culture, as well as a strong desire to help families within Aboriginal communities and demonstrated knowledge of health related issues in Indigenous Australians.
