About the Opportunity
The Village Retirement Group now has an opportunity for an experienced Marketing Services Manager to become an integral part of their Executive Management Team. This role is based in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane and is being offered on a permanent full-time basis, with flexibility in working hours.
Reporting to the CEO, you’ll be responsible for the overall sales and marketing strategy for the company, including brand identity development, website design and development, market research, media planning, event management, and integrated campaign development, execution, and management.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Executing all marketing plans, including deciding on campaigns, designing creative, writing copy, determining call to action, developing appropriate processes, and consolidating with sales consultants;
- Providing leadership in the development of evaluation strategies of short and long term strategic marketing initiatives;
- Ensuring credibility of marketing campaigns via managing quarterly, monthly, and annual budgets;
- Sourcing advertising opportunities in press, radio, TV, online, and other media; and
- Managing the production of marketing materials including brochures, posters, newsletters, e-newsletters, information flyers, and floor plans.
About You
This is a fantastic opportunity to take hold of Marketing operations with full autonomy - you'll manage everything from signage and billboard advertising to developing brand strategy. As such, it's crucial you be a self-starter who thrives on independent work and complete role ownership.
The Village Retirement Group is seeking a qualified marketing professional who has demonstrated experience developing and delivering marketing strategies within the commercial space. You’ll have well-developed commercial acumen, with the ability to create innovative and unique initiatives that establish a strong market presence for the organisation.
Although not essential, any or all of the following will be highly regarded:
- Qualifications in advertising
- Digital media experience
- Desktop publishing experience
- Retail marketing experience
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will see you establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, alongside liaising with external service providers in a professional manner.
