This is a full-time role where you will receive a base salary $55,000 to $70,000 (negotiable depending on skills and experience) plus on-target bonuses based on KPI's circa $10,000 - $15,000!

About your new role...

This is a unique role that will see you coordinating group flights for Student Horizons School groups in both New Zealand and Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating the best possible deals on group bookings and making these bookings for Student Horizons group flights.

This will include preparing quotes for flights/additional travel requirements for Student Horizons sales proposals. As such, experience with GDS, Galileo or Amadeus is a must.

Demonstrated experience in group travel will be held in high regard, however is not essential.

You will also need to have good industry stakeholder networks within Australia (established networks within New Zealand is a bonus) and experience managing travel related events.

As Student Horizons provides music, sporting, and educational based tours, it is desirable that you have a passion in at least one of these areas. Previous experience within the educational travel industry will be highly regarded.

Most importantly, you will be a vibrant and energetic individual who can build new relationships with external stakeholders with ease!

You will also have a real passion for travel and a dedication to ensuring that students have safe and unforgettable experiences.

Please note: Candidates need to hold a current driver's licence and be willing to obtain a criminal history and working with children check.
