About the Opportunity

Due to an internal promotion and high market demand, Knauf Australia is now seeking a full-time Customer Service Agent to join their team in Sydney.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this role will see you responsible for performing administrative tasks and data entry into SAP.

More specifically, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Processing customer orders in a timely manner;
  • Assisting callers over the phone and directing them to other areas of the business;
  • Liaising with customers (both internal and external);
  • Allocating and overseeing stock, and booking transport requirements for stock movements;
  • Managing the processing of credits and rebates;
  • Processing daily open sales reports; and
  • Fulfilling customers’ requirements in a prompt, professional and efficient manner.

About You

If you have the following, Knauf wants to hear from you!

  • Experience with SAP - you'll be working with SAP day to day, so any prior knowledge would be great
  • Experience with high-volume workloads - you're a champion multi-tasker who thrives in a busy, fast-paced role
  • A killer knack for customer service - a 'people person', you'll be fluent in developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders of all levels
  • Common sense and ability to think on your feet - you won't shy away from a challenge, with the ability to come up with innovative solutions to any issue at hand
  • Initiative and drive - you'll be eager to learn, have a desire to grow your skills to progress within the company, and always looking for opportunities to implement process improvements
  • Positivity and enthusiasm - attitude is key! You'll be willing to take on anything thrown at you, and will do it with a smile

Qualifications are not required for your success, however any certificates in customer service, business, retail operations, or similar would be a bonus. Any knowledge of, or experience within, the building industry will also be highly regarded.
