About the Opportunity
Due to recent growth, Griffin Builders now has an exciting opportunity for a Site Supervisor to lead the construction of a $3.8 million, 1,200 sq m school building, based in Rockhampton. This is a full-time permanent position commencing early 2018.
Reporting into the Project Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the project is running to schedule and budget requirements, by controlling the work of direct labour, including tradesmen, subcontractors and suppliers.
Day-to-day this will include:
- Overseeing daily construction including supervision of sub-contractors;
- Liaising with all sub-contractors, staff, consultants and clients and holding regular meetings as required to communicate programme and site matters;
- Maintaining strict WHS standards on-site; and
- Bringing works to practical completion within the time frame nominated as per the construction programme or adjusted construction programme.
About You
To be considered for this position you will need to be a proven Site Supervisor with demonstrated experience delivering projects in excess of $3 million, within the commercial construction space. You are also required to hold a QBCC medium-rise license.
