About the Opportunity

Due to continued growth and strategic direction, Knauf Australia is now looking a full-time Territory Manager (FNQ) to join their team based in Far North Queensland.

Reporting to the Queensland Regional Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for improving revenue and executing distributor sales strategies by developing and maintaining strong relationships with the Knauf channel to market, builders and contractors for Knauf corporate stores.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, builders and contractors with an aim to ensure continued success and profitable growth;
  • Identifying and recommending business development opportunities;
  • Developing strategic plans to grow market share by maintaining regular and effective call cycles;
  • Promoting Knauf branded products in collaboration with the marketing team to successfully drive brand awareness;
  • Ensuring the sales channels to market and end users are fully trained in Knauf branded products and systems;
  • Ensuring Salesforce is regularly updated with all market and customer intelligence; and
  • Providing accurate and timely reports as requested by the Regional Sales Manager.

Full sales and product training will be provided.

Please Note: This is a field sales position. As such, you will be required to travel frequently around the Far North Queensland region.

About You

Knauf is seeking a superior communicator with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders. You’ll have a genuine desire to help customers grow their businesses and take pride in your ability to do so. You will be organised and structured in your approach.

You will also be confident that you are able to efficiently and effectively run your region and convert leads into sales. Therefore, sales experience is desirable, but at a minimum, you should demonstrate the above characteristics and be hungry to launch your sales career.

An understanding of plasterboard and metal systems will be advantageous.

Experience using the Salesforce, CRM Tool would come in handy, however, is not required.
