About the Opportunity

Due to the rapid growth of their production department, B.-d. Farm Paris Creek is looking for someone to support to their Operations Manager as the newest addition to their efficient management team. 

Reporting, planning, ordering and effectively leading the production team would be your core role, as well as running the production activities on an advanced company computer system. You'll also have day to day interaction with other managers within the organisation, and oversee continuous improvement in business areas including efficiency, productivity, work place safety, expenditure and people management. Future advancements within the organisation will be possible for the right candidate.

Some of your key responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Planning all aspects of production, from output targets to staff rostering;
  • Monitoring production processes;
  • Inducting, training and supervising production staff; and
  • Maintaining stock levels of ingredients, packaging materials and placing orders as required.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated technical food manufacturing experience, preferably at a managerial level. Specific experience in the dairy industry would be highly advantageous. 

B.-d. Farm Paris Creek is looking for a person with strong communication skills and leadership ability, along with highly developed organisational, time management and administrative skills. Importantly, you'll also possess the ability to identify and implement business improvement opportunities.
