Now Apollo's Retail division has 9 locations across Australia covering all major centres selling world-class brands Adria, Winnebago and TALVOR, as well as other major brands within the RV industry. 

About the Opportunity

With strategic growth plans well underway for 2018, Apollo now has a brand new opportunity for a full-time Marketing Manager (Retail Division) to join their team based at Apollo Head Office in Northgate, Brisbane.  

Reporting to the Executive General Manager - Commercial, your key responsibility will be to provide innovative, strategic leadership to Apollo's retail sales division - delivering marketing and communications strategies and solutions that support the business to achieve its corporate, commercial and cultural objectives.

Some of your key directives will include (but not be limited to) the following:

  • Manage all forms of marketing within the retail division;
  • Drive a brand strategy for Apollo's retail division;
  • Develop strategic marketing plans for Apollo's retail division and leading the marketing team to implement them;
  • Create a strategic calendar of events for the retail division including consumer and trade shows and attending these events as required;
  • Work with Dealer Principal and Sales Managers to develop branding and sales strategies for each site; and
  • Provide strategic advice to the Apollo executive team on media and marketing activities to increase brand penetration and sales across the network.  

About You

To be considered for this position you will have tertiary qualifications in Marketing or similar and extensive experience in a strategic marketing role within the automotive industry with a focus on product and/or brand marketing. You will have proven experience developing and implementing strategic growth strategies, as well as in managing digital marketing strategies and external agencies.

Ideally you will come from an RV industry background, with an understanding of the industry.

A confident communicator with strong influencing and negotiating skills, you will liaise with key stakeholders within the dealer network, as well as the media as required, to communicate and execute strategic directions, with the end goal of increasing brand awareness and sales for the retail division. 

As you'll be working within a fast-paced environment where everyone is striving for continuous improvement and growth, it's crucial you be a team player who is willing to go above and beyond to get the job done. With ambitious company goals, everyone has set key performance indicators (KPIs) and results are measured. You should be comfortable with being held accountable for the output and quality of the work you deliver.
