A New Opportunity Awaits 

Primex is currently seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Inside Sales Support representative to support our Outside Sales team on a full-time basis. 

Based in Langley, this is a great opportunity for someone with a keen interest in supporting a business unit in helping them to achieve revenue growth. This will be done by supporting an Outside Sales team of 2/3 people throughout every aspect of the sales process. Although you may be required to attend trade shows and provide customer follow-up, you won't be expected to cold call new leads. 

Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Providing timely sales support to all internal and external sales personnel
  • Coordinating the shipment and delivery of product samples, literature and marketing materials 
  • Soliciting new business opportunities with other sales personnel
  • Working to expand customer share of existing accounts by upselling additional products and volume quantities
  • Answering customer inquiries, providing timely quotes, assisting with closing sales, and resolving customer complaints and problems 
  • Providing training to customers and staff on product usage 
  • Entering and maintain up-to-date customer information in Salesforce
  • Communicating all customer changes, pricing and special requirements
  • Assisting the Marketing Department with tradeshow logistics and marketing material requirements 
  • Maintaining working knowledge of market trends and staying informed of new product trends and competitors 
  • Providing administrative support to other managers, as required. 

This role is well suited to someone with 2-5 years of sales support experience, and knowledge of the telecommunications industry will be considered an asset.

A post-secondary education is advantageous, but not essential for success in this role. What is essential is strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong written and verbal communications skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, as well as proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office applications.

Previous experience with Syspro or other manufacturing ERP systems is also considered an asset.  Similarly, fluency in Spanish is considered an asset.

Please note that for this role there will be occasional travel to the US required and you must be willing and able to fulfill this requirement.
