About the Opportunity

Due to an exciting period of growth, Onetrak now has two opportunities for full-time Sales Representatives to join their team in Tasmania. One position will be based in Somerset looking after Northern TAS, and the other will be based in Brighton looking after Southern TAS. 

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this field based sales role will see you primarily responsible for managing and servicing existing customers, as well as identifying and securing new business opportunities within your territory. 60% - 70% of leads will be provided for you, and you'll generate the rest yourself.

More specifically, some of your key duties will include:

  • Establishing relationships with new customers and maintaining contact with existing customers;
  • Actively seeking out new opportunities and closing deals;
  • Promoting and supporting all areas of the business within your territory;
  • Providing weekly updates on current prospects, lost sales and market information to the National Sales Manager;
  • Bringing other Onetrak staff into opportunities to maximise sales potential as required; and
  • Developing technical proficiency on equipment to complement good sales techniques.

Are you the right fit?

Onetrak is after driven Salespeople with mechanical aptitude - you'll be given training on company products, but an understanding of the industry and mechanics will ensure your ability to effectively engage with clients regarding Onetrak's offering.

Ideally, you'll have 3+ years' in a similar sales role, preferably within equipment sales. The ability to develop call plans and sales strategies will be essential, as will proven B2B and solution selling skills. It goes without saying, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to develop and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

A true 'hunter', you'll be self-motivated with a desire to win new business and succeed in your role. You'll be willing to go above and beyond for your clients, and will be recognised and rewarded in return.

Competency in the use of computer programs including Microsoft Office is also required, while experience with CRMs will be highly regarded (Salesforce would be a bonus!).

Please Note: A current, unrestricted Driver's License is a requirement of this position.
