Durri is currently seeking two General Practitioners to join their team. These are full-time roles, working across the Kempsey and Nambucca Heads clinics. Hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, with no after hours or weekend work required.

Along with a team of General Practitioners and Allied Health professionals, you will be providing comprehensive, primary health care services to the local Aboriginal community.

This will include providing culturally appropriate clinical care, overseeing clinical conditions and requirements, and engaging in community health promotion and education activities to improve health status.

About You

The successful candidates will have demonstrated experience in clinical general practice. It is essential that applicants have the right to live and work in Australia, hold a tertiary qualification in Medicine, be a FRACGP and/or FACRRM, and hold current AHPRA registration.

This role will be well suited to GP's looking for a new challenge and exposure to a wide range of health conditions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, will be key to your success.

As you will be interacting with Indigenous clients, it's important you be able to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Candidates with experience working within an Aboriginal community controlled health setting will be highly regarded.

Please note: It is a requirement of this role that successful candidates hold a Working with Children Clearance and are willing to undergo a National Police Check prior to commencing employment.

A highly attractive remuneration package is on offer circa $280,000 - $300,000 (commensurate with experience) including salary packaging options. Additionally, you will receive 6 weeks' annual leave, and negotiable relocation assistance is available.
