About the Opportunity

Our client is an international industry leader supplying products to the construction and building industry.

They're currently after a customer service and administration professional to join their team in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs OR in Melbourne's Western Suburbs.

You'll work in a small team to ensure the National Customer Service Centre processes are maintained through the provision of quality customer service and efficient administration support.

Your duties may include, but will not be limited to:

  • Establishing and maintaining positive customer relationships;
  • Coordinating and processing product orders;
  • Responding to incoming customer calls and emails;
  • Processing customer credit requests;
  • Assisting with stock movements; and
  • Performing general administrative tasks and data entry.

Please Note: This position is required to take part in a rotating roster with the following hours (Monday - Friday):

  • 6am - 2:30pm
  • 7:30am - 4pm
  • 8:30am - 5pm

Is this the role for you?

A process driven individual, with demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure will be well suited to this role. Experience in administration and customer service will be essential, ensuring you possess excellent computer skills and a pleasant phone demeanour.

In addition, strong problems solving skills will enable you to resolve issues for customers and internal stakeholders in a timely and effective manner. 

Above all, you'll approach your work with a positive attitude and dedication to impeccable customer service.

Although not essential, any of the following would be a bonus:

  • Knowledge of the building / construction sector
  • Exposure to stock control and logistics
  • SAP experience (or the ability to pick up software quickly)
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Business Admin)
