About the Opportunity
Macfarlane Generators is now looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Internal Sales Representative to join the team in Clayton South, Victoria, on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for all operations of the Showroom, including managing the Showroom Assistant, delivering customer satisfaction and achieving sales and operational KPIs.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Ensuring company sales and other procedures are adhered to;
- Demonstrating equipment for customers;
- Performing showroom duties including stocking, labelling, testing, tagging, and ensuring there are no vacant spaces;
- Working with customers to provide best-practice knowledge and information around their individual needs;
- Attending to any customer enquiries and issues in a timely manner; and
- Actively seeking new business opportunities for the company.
About You
Macfarlane Generators is looking for a friendly, 'hands-on' professional with proven sales experience. To be successful in this role, you'll have some mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn about power solutions.
You will use your excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills to efficiently and effectively deliver outstanding customer service in a cheerful and cooperative manner. Computer literacy in regards to the internet, websites and invoicing is required, alongside the ability to provide written confirmations and quotations on equipment as required.
Most importantly, the ideal candidate will be a well presented and driven professional with a patient, mature outlook.
Please note: Candidates must live within a reasonable travel distance from Clayton South.
