Boag's Diesel Mechanics (Boag's) - established in 2013 by third generation Diesel Mechanic Chris Boag - provides repairs, services, and diagnostics on a range of equipment including earthmoving, light and heavy trucks/trailers, and 4x4's.
Based in Kilmore, VIC, Boag's pride themselves on providing customers with a wealth of knowledge and superior workmanship.
About the role
Boag's now has an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their Kilmore team on a full-time basis.
In this role, your main responsibility will be to carry out repairs and servicing (including diagnosing issues) on a variety of equipment including:
- Earthmoving equipment;
- Light and Heavy Trucks/Trailers;
- 4x4's; and
- Agricultural equipment.
You will be based out of the Boag's workshop in Kilmore, however, you will be required to visit clients on-site and need to be comfortable and willing to spend time away from the workshop. Most on-site visits will be in the Kilmore region.
While in the workshop, you will also be required to assist with operational administrative tasks and customer service.
About You
This role will be well suited to a highly-motivated and experienced Diesel Mechanic who is looking for career progression within a professional and supportive organisation.
It is essential that you are a qualified Diesel Mechanic.
In addition, candidates who hold the following will be held in high regard:
- Forklift licence;
- Truck or HC driver's licence; and
- White card.
Most importantly, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar role, a high-level of motivation and drive, and excellent communication skills.
Please note: It is essential that candidates have the legal right to live and work in Australia to be considered for this role. You will also need a current unencumbered driver's licence and the ability to travel regionally on a daily basis.
