About the Role
Kan-Arm Contracting's Drilling and Blasting Division currently has opportunities for experienced Drillers as well as Blasters with WCB Urban Endorsements to start immediately.
A typical day will include:
- Operating and maintaining drill equipment
- Following the direction of surveyor layout and foreman on site
- Following all WorkSafe procedures and knowledgeable of safety practices
- Maintaining and accurately completing paperwork daily
- Working in a team environment
In order to qualify for this role, you will have knowledge of operating and maintaining drilling equipment (Specifically Tamrock 800 & 560 Drills, Excavator Drills). Please note a valid Class 5 Driver's License is also required.
The following are considered assets:
- WCB Urban Blasting Endorsement
- Ministry of Mines Certification
