About the Opportunity

OSS World Wide Movers now has an exciting opportunity for an External Sales Consultant to join their team in Kings Park, Sydney, on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Sales Manager this role will see you meeting with OSS clients in their homes to explain the OSS service offering and secure their relocation overseas. OSS relocate to all parts of the globe, however key markets include New Zealand, the UK and Europe.

This is NOT a cold calling sales role. You will be provided with warm leads and will simply work with clients to get a thorough understanding of their requirements and budget and then offer them a tailored bundle of OSS services. 

A typical 'week in the life' of an OSS External Sales Consultant would include:

  • Meeting with the Sales team to discuss pipelines, targets and current opportunities;
  • Attending 10-20 appointments per week with clients across Sydney, conducting site surveys with a tablet;
  • Occasionally travelling to meet clients outside of Sydney in regional NSW;
  • Liaising with customs and other relevant government bodies as required; and
  • Liaising with moving crews, international partners and other relevant stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the relocation are conducted efficiently and effectively.

About You

This is a very unique and niche industry and as such, the successful candidate must have an understanding of and/or experience in international moving, to be considered for this position. Any experience using MoveWare industry software will be highly regarded. 

Second to this will be your experience in a sales capacity and the ability to work in a KPI driven environment. You will be comfortable working within long and short sales cycles and bring a perception and confidence to your dealings with clients to keep your appointments on schedule, whilst still capturing all the information you need and offering the best possible service to your clients. OSS is open to talking to sales people from all levels, whether they have been working in an internal sales capacity or even a Sales Manager within the moving industry.
