About the Opportunity

Currently, Arcadian Projects is seeking a motivated Journeyman Millwright to join the Maintenance team in Baden, ON.

In this role, you will be responsible for working with trades crews on Millwright & Rigging projects and Mechanical installations and repairs.

You will also perform the following duties, with safety being the number one priority:

  • Service work for clients in multiple sectors
  • Operating Forklift and other equipment for machinery relocates and other needs as required.
  • On-site welding and fabrication 
  • Alignment of machinery, pumps, motors, etc. 
  • Attending service calls and maintenance coverage shifts as required (Some travel and overnight)
  • Attending periodic employee update meetings and training sessions
  • Maintenance coverage for manufacturing plants in multiple sectors
  • Maintaining good relationships with the customer base and promoting Arcadian services
  • Providing confident leadership to apprentices and coworkers.

To be successful in this role, you must have a Journeyman Millwright Certification combined with 2 years of related experience. Ideally, you will be or are in the process of, obtaining your CWB certification. 

Strong problem solving, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills will be essential to your success, as is the ability to troubleshoot problems as they arise. Lastly, you are capable of working with minimal supervision.
