MOJO Beverages (MOJO) was created by Australia’s first family of kombucha, who introduced bottles of sparkling, fermented tea to market in 2010, pioneering the niche beverage category in Australia. 

MOJO’s humble beginnings link directly back to the company's founder Anthony Crabb, who was introduced to the drink by a well-travelled friend. It inspired him to begin handcrafting home batches of his own kombucha, and after perfecting his brew, Anthony, with the help of his wife Sarah and a committed tribe of family and friends, embarked on a mission to take kombucha to the people – all beginning with an esky at the local farmers market. 

Today MOJO is sold throughout 4,000 outlets nationwide and remains true to its belief that true health begins within.

MOJO is experiencing phenomenal growth, is proud of it, and is now on the lookout for a new National Account Manager to join their team. This is a full-time role and is required to be based in Sydney, however, as you will be spending most of your time on the road visiting new and prospective clients, the successful candidate will be home-based, with regular phone and Skype contact with the rest of the sales team.

As the National Account Manager for MOJO you will be primarily responsible for account managing a portfolio of key national clients, including Woolworths, Aldi and Costco, as well as increasing brand awareness and sales of MOJO products with new national clients within the grocery, petrol and convenience, fast food and related chains. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Developing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with MOJO customers and distributors on a national level;
  • Working with key-end customers to build and execute sales and promotional programs;
  • Monitoring and reporting on national market activity around areas such as category insights across functional beverages, competitor products and activation in trade; and
  • Achieving budgeted sales, distribution and new business targets.

To be considered for this role you must have previous national account management experience AND experience gained within the FMCG industry. If you have existing relationships and networks in place - even better! 

You will have proven sales ability, including negotiating skills, persuasive abilities and excellent communication skills, which you will use to your advantage, whilst maintaining integrity and professionalism at all times. As this is a highly autonomous role you will be self-motivated, organised and highly energetic. And of course, it goes without saying that you will be a confident people-person who loves talking to existing and prospective new clients and establishing long-term relationships!

Importantly, MOJO is looking for candidates who truly believe in the benefits of their products and what they are trying to achieve as an organisation. Please note: A current driver's license and access to your own, reliable car is a requirement of this position.

An attractive remuneration package is on offer circa $120,000-$150,000 + super, which will be negotiable based on the skills and experience you are bringing to the role. This will include a base salary plus an incentive program, phone, laptop and car allowance.
