About the Role
This is an role for a solid operator, who is seeking job stability, long term learning and wants to be a part of a small team within a large organisation. Generous $$ rates on offer for the right candidate with the necessary experience and skills. Single accommodation & meals may be available if required (sorry no pets). Reporting to the Farm Manager, the farming team play a critical role in growing and harvesting 9000 acres of summer and winter bulk crops to ensure supply of quality forage for our feedlots and properties, plus irrigation and grazing for 5000 head of cattle. There’s loads of day to day variety including:
- Operating modern fleet of farming plant/equipment with GPS (Trimble)
- Spraying / Planting & Spreading
- Maintenance and repair of plant, equipment & machinery

- Hands on experience in broad acre farming - operating modern farming plant & equipment
- Strong mechanical skills
- 100% commitment to working safely and ability to follow instructions
- Manual Drivers licence (plus HC licence advantageous)
- Fitness and capacity to safely undertake the physical aspects of the job
