1st Year Automotive Apprenticeship - Start your career with one of Australia’s largest Employers of apprentices and trainees.
AGA is currently seeking candidates for a 1st Year Automotive apprenticeship located in Mulgrave.
Gain valuable on-the-job training with a well established car dealership, and become a fully qualified Automotive Mechanic.
You will be provided tools, PPE and have full support through a dedicated Field Officer throughout your apprenticeship.
Position Requirements:
- Service vehicles including, changing filters, replacing oils, spark plugs, injectors & tightening belts
- Brake repairs including: adjustments, replacement of pads, brake cylinders, bleeding and machining discs
- Minor mechanical repairs
- Washing engine components using solvent wash bath
- General cleaning of workshops
Personal Requirements:
- Must have a manual drivers licence
- Enjoy practical and manual work
- Pre Apprenticeship in Automotive desirable but not essential
- Strong problem-solving skills
- No skin allergies or reactions to grease, oil, petrol or solvents
