Aged Care Traineeship- Templestowe
AGA is seeking individuals to train as personal care workers within a facility located in Templestowe. The successful candidates will work part time for 12 months whilst completing a 'Certificate III in Aged Care'.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality personal assistance to clients
- Assisting residents with all daily activities
- Treat residents as an individual & with dignity
- Assist residents with meals & drinks
- Comply with policies and procedures
Skills and Experience:
- Good communication skills
- Patient in dealing with people
- Able to work as part of a team
Requirements:
- Own transport
- Shift work
- Police check
- Medical assessment
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone, from recent school leavers to someone that may have left school in the last two years, to gain a nationally accredited qualification while working part time and gaining valuable experience. There is also an excellent opportunity for ongoing employment at the end of the traineeship.
