Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) is a not-for-profit aged care and community service provider that was established in July 2014. ARRCS operate residential aged care facilities and community care support programs within communities across the Northern Territory including Darwin, Alice Springs, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Mutitjulu and Docker River.
ARRCS is a service group of Uniting Care Queensland – the health and community service provider of the Uniting Church, and is supported by Blue Care – also part of Uniting Care Queensland and one of Australia's leading residential and community aged care providers in Australia.

About the role
Reporting to the Regional Manager – People, Safety and Innovation, the Learning & Development Coordinator will be joining the People & Culture team for a 6 month project. Our goal is to manage the cultural change to the organisation to modernise and drive new systems and processes throughout 2020 in the areas of People, Learning and Safety to automate and centralise the way we work to reduce manual and duplicated processes across our business. This position in particular will be responsible for leading the implementation of our new LMS system.
This will involve working with our system developers to review our current training requirements and create and implement online core compliance training, site inductions, corporate branding and the ARRCS Leadership Development Program.
Skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in a Learning & Development, Training or HR Advisor role
- Experience implementing LMS software and creating content via ScormBuilder
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance workload and conflicting priorities, plan and make decisions
- Must have a current National Police Check, OCHRE card and NT Drivers’ License or a willingness to obtain prior to commencing
