About the Role

An opportunity has become available for full time Team Leader within our Frozen Department. This role will be reporting to the Production Manager – Frozen and will be responsible for managing and coordinating the effective operations of the Frozen Spiral Line. 

The successful candidate will lead and manage a  team of 10 production operators. You will demonstrate strong leadership, drive operational efficiencies and optimisation and  ensure quality targets are met at all times. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and operating machinery & equipment on the spiral line including assembly & disassembly
  • Leading and directing a team of operators
  • Ability to assess product quality and provide reports
  • Compliance to batch sheets, critical start-up & process control check sheets accurately
  • Sound product/technical knowledge of the Apple Pie & Hotcake Production Process & scheduling - or similar
  • Ensure all Team Members are following all GMP and HACCP Policies & Procedures
  • Ensure product quality is always within specification and make adjustments to achieve highest quality within specified parameter
  • Complete review of all production records to ensure all data reporting requirements are met


Working Hours

Mon 12:00am – 10:30am

Tues – Fri 5:00am – 1:00pm

 About You

  • 3-5 years experience in bakery manufacturing preferably in a leadership role
  • Demonstrate leading a team experience in a food environment
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and WHS Standards
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Self-driven and possess the ability to build relationships across all departments
  • Diploma in Food Manufacturing or Front Line Management Cert would be advantageous
