Key Responsibilities

The Process/Production Operator reports to the Frozen Team Leader and is responsible for the operation of production and packaging for all related products. As the Process/Production Operator you will support the Frozen team, assisting and overseeing as required, ensuring best practice and standards. This is a full-time position and based in Liverpool. You will be flexible with your availability, working as required within a shift environment.

  • Responsible for the mixing and depositing area- organisation and cleanliness
  • Responsible for the mixing of batters and depositing equipment for the cake production line
  • Manage the mixer, pump & depositor as per Team Leader's direction
  • Sets up & inspects machinery to ensure efficient startup and smooth operation
  • Checks and adjust various parts for proper alignment, rotation, etc
  • Weighs and adds the proper amount of ingredients 
  • Familiar with proper operation of mixing machinery and safety checks
  • Understands scheduling
  • Ensure product quality is always within specification and make adjustments to achieve the highest quality within specified parameters
  • Conduct routine line inspections to address potential food safety and quality risks/concern

To be successful in the role, you will need to have:

  • Patisserie Certification Advantageous
  • Experience, willingness, and availability to work in a shift environment
  • Effective Communication with the team, peers, supervisor, management and any other relevant parties
  • Good written, numeracy and oral communication skills
  • Open to development opportunities
  • Demonstrating the potential to act as a 2IC when required
  • Ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and to use initiative

 Working Hours

Mon 12:00am – 10:30am

Tues – Fri 5:00am – 1:00pm
