Autism SA is a leading provider of services to individuals and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Australia and is seeking to employ Occupational Therapists as a part of the Clinical Support Services team.
The role is responsible and accountable for:
- Deliver direct support in a variety of settings
- Plan, implement and evaluate individual therapy programs in conjunction with the Clinical Support Services multi-disciplinary team
- Plan, implement and evaluate appropriate programs in conjunction with other Autism SA staff with a multidisciplinary focus
- Develop and maintain effective communication with families and relevant others
- Maintain up to date records and reports including individual, therapy reports and progress notes
- Provide consultative support to families and educational settings
- Facilitate successful inclusion of families and individuals into group programs
- Work collaboratively with staff, families and staff from other organisations
The positions are a 12 month contracted positions with the possibility of extension.
