About the Role
Our faced-paced peri-urban council is continuing to grow and an exciting opportunity has arisen for two Principal Statutory Planners to join our Planning and Development team, responsible for the management of a broad range of complex planning applications.
You will be a senior member of Council’s Statutory Planning Team, required to provide specialist advice, project manage and process major planning permit applications.
We are seeking a leader who will mentor and develop the Statutory Planning team, someone who has a strong business improvement focus with the ability to negotiate quality planning outcomes for our Shire.
We have two positions available within the team (2.0 FTE) and would be happy to accommodate part-time or full-time employment as well as working from home arrangements.
About the Successful Candidate
The successful applicant will hold relevant qualifications and have demonstrated experience in a similar role, working on a diverse range of complex planning applications, representing Council at VCAT and successfully developing a team.
