Salary:  $1339.47 - $1407.28per week + super

Position Status: Permanent full time

Hours of work: 35 hour week with a RDO every third week

About the Role

Bathurst Regional Council has been providing quality child care services to the Bathurst community for over 30 years and is excited to continue with the provision in a newly furbished child care facility that will house Long Day Care and Family Day Care.

Council is looking for a highly skilled professional to take on the role of Child Care Coordinator to manage Scallywags, a 40 place centre, to be increased to 60 places from approximately July 2019.

As a Child Care Coordinator you will deliver the highest quality education and care programs to meet the needs of all stakeholders. You will be supporting the education program, managing and mentoring people to ensure Scallywags child care is providing an educational, safe, caring, stimulating and family orientated environment.

Strong organisation, time management, leadership and communication skills are essential to the position.

The position will require you to work alongside a leadership team to deliver Council’s Children’s Services.

You will be required to work on rotating roster between the hours of 7.30am to 6.00pm.
