Take Two is a state-wide service, established to provide high quality therapeutic services to children and young people who have suffered significant abuse or neglect and are clients of Child Protection. Take Two is a registered health care provider.
This role is designed to provide cultural input to support the Take Two Program and to provide culturally appropriate clinical services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients. The role involves direct work with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients, consultation (to Take Two teams and to other services), training, and developing relationships with ACCOs. The role is based at Eaglemont, and focuses specifically on the Western Metro, Grampians and Barwon South-West regions (these regional responsibilities can be negotiated within the team).
The successful applicant will have a strong knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and strong links with community, and will preferably be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. The successful applicant will ideally have an appropriate tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
