About the role:

The Children & Families Playgroup Facilitator will be involved in the Early Learning is Fun (ELF) Program, supporting parents in strengthening early learning and development, therapeutic responses to early childhood trauma, delivery of supported playgroups & early parenting skill development and local partnerships to deliver support to vulnerable families and children.

This is a part time (0.6EFT), fixed term position until 30 June 2020. Candidates will need to be available for shifts on Monday, Thursday and Friday at playgroups located in Epping, Lalor and Eaglemont.

About you:

You will assist in delivering a high-quality parent/child play group targeting families experiencing vulnerability. You will engage and work with families with children from birth to pre-school providing Early Education and Care expertise with a view to building confidence and capability within the community to access universal and specialist early years services for their children including health, education and care services.
