Carpentaria Shire Council is seeking fixed term Construction Workers/Roller Operators for the 2017 Works Season. If you have a high standard of operating skills on a roller and other road making equipment, we would like to hear from you. This is a great opportunity to join a professional team and work in a job that suits an outdoor lifestyle. These positions will work at various locations throughout the Shire and involve working a 10 days on/ 4 days off roster, camping out at remote work-sites in Council provided accommodation.
Successful applicants must be energetic with the ability to jump off the machine and labour as necessary. You must have the following tickets and experience:
- Minimum - "MR" Licence and Roller Ticket;
- Construction Industry Safety Card (White Card); and
- Experience in civil works construction and maintenance.
