About the role:

 Work closely with our Head of Group for Property nationally, named in Doyle's Guide 2016 as a recommended property and real estate lawyer. Join a dynamic and highly successful team and be responsible for:

 

  • Working with clients on property and real estate matters across a variety of transactions and advisory situations including joint ventures, project management and delivery and syndication arrangements
  • Reviewing developing case law and legislative changes
  • Drafting a broad range of documents that capture the context of the matter with a commercial approach
  • Conducting effective legal research and analysis to produce timely, commercial and legally accurate advice
  • Managing a robust workload, including prioritising work and delivering services effectively
  • Developing an understanding of client operations and strategy across property developers, corporations, property trusts, institutions and government departments
  • Managing prospective client relationships and taking active steps to develop those relationships
  • Continual professional development and managing CPD requirements

  

The successful candidate:

You will be supported in this close knit team, given training, mentoring and guidance from your peers and leader. You will need to be self-motivated and adaptable in this dynamic environment. Ideal background and skills include:

 

  • Ideally 3-4 years' PAE with a property/real estate background
  • Strong technical experience with great stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent drafting skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Client relationship focused and committed to establishing a long-term successful career
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels and effectively work in a team
  • Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines and manage time
  • Commercial acumen
  • Practical problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An interest in business development
