About the role:

We are currently recruiting for a Property Paralegal to join our Brisbane office. The successful candidate will be a career paralegal with a strong background in conveyancing and leasing. You will be responsible for:

 

  • Providing high level paralegal support to property team members, with a focus on conveyancing and leasing
  • Managing a robust workload, including prioritising work and delivering services effectively
  • Developing an understanding of specific client and Partner styles and demands
  • Being conscious of existing and prospective client relationships and taking active steps to develop those relationships
  • Complying with the practice's process and systems

 

The successful candidate:

You will be supported in this close knit team, given training, mentoring and guidance from your peers and leader. You will need to be self-motivated and adaptable in this dynamic environment. Ideal background and skills include:

 

  • Demonstrated experience as a career Property paralegal
  • Expansive knowledge and experience in conveyancing and preferably in leasing
  • An understanding of databases and basic search queries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously whilst under pressure
  • Ability to manage a demanding workload
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Client relationship focused and are interested in establishing a long-term successful career
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels and effectively work in a team
  • Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines and manage time
