We are currently recruiting for paralegals to join our Planning Government Infrastructure & Environment team in our Brisbane Office.

 

Planning Government Infrastructure & Environment Team

Our Planning Government Infrastructure & Environment team are the trusted partners of public and private sector entities. Our team are the legal and policy designers of strategic and tactical solutions to complex problems in the fields of planning, government, infrastructure and environment.

Our team has deep understanding of what is required to deliver a complex project and have more than 50 years experience in designing innovative outcomes for development and infrastructure projects, including new cities, towns and communities.

Our team provides the following expertise:

 

Planning

Strategic and tactical planning in development issues and processes in major residential communities and commercial and industrial projects.

 

Government

In-depth understanding in government legislation, policy and processes.

 

Infrastructure

Specialist expertise and experience in infrastructure planning, funding and delivery.

 

Environment

Legal excellence in all areas of environmental law.

 

Our paralegals

Our team is looking for candidates with the following attributes:

  • Passionate – have a demonstrated interest in the specialised areas of planning, government, infrastructure and environment
  • Resilient – have a demonstrated strong work ethic and physical and mental endurance
  • Multidisciplinary – have a background in related disciplines such as science, planning, economics and business
  • Designers – have demonstrated skills in creating innovative solutions which could be applied to complex problems such as planning cities, funding infrastructure, developing public policy for governments and managing environmental challenges
  • Project managers – have demonstrated skills in project planning, process mapping and improvement and related areas.

 

Our team's paralegals work closely with our legal support team and provide assistance to the lawyers in our team in a highly mentored and supervised manner where the development of legal knowledge matters.

 

These positions are casual part time and will commence April – June 2017.
