WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our Tasmanian Operations are currently seeking Labourers / Specialist Applicators for short term project work (2-3 months) in the Launceston region. Candidates should demonstrate considerable experience in the following fields;
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carpentry
- Concrete repairs
- Protective coating application
- Waterproofing
- Crack Injection
- Steel coatings and preparation
- Concrete reinforcement, preparation and replacement
- Using Micro-Concrete Reinstatement Mortar
- Use of various epoxy flooring materials
- Industrial Abrasive Blasting and Coating
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
To be considered, candidates must demonstrate the following:
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar field
- Work to a high standard to maintain productivity
- Ability to pass all pre-employment medicals and D&A requirements
- Current Construction White Card
- Current Working at Heights ticket Advantageous
- Current Confined Space Entry ticket Advantageous
- Elevated Work Platform ticket Advantageous
- Be safety conscious
- Proactive, reliable and hardworking
Due to the nature of the project work there will be the ongoing expectations that candidates will be required to travel depending on the location across projects in Tasmania.
