About the Opportunity

As a member of this highly motivated finance team, you will provide financial support to Retail Operations through preparation of financial statements, management reporting and internal audits of our SA CBD and NT retail stores.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Internal audits (to ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards and FCL minimum standards for financial systems and processes)
• Preparation of monthly financial statements and management accounts (including analysis and interpretation of monthly results)
• Assist with half year and year end accounts preparation
• Bank reconciliations (including trust accounts reconciliations)
• Assisting team leaders with the preparation of annual budgets
• Provide ad-hoc training and accounting support as required.
• Support to Operational Leader (with financial analysis, training for consultants, buzz nights, monthly TL/FTL meetings and conferences)
• Assist with special projects and the implementation of systems and process improvement initiatives from time to time
• Please note this role will involve frequent travel to the NT for business

• Relevant accounting qualifications or a willingness to undertake study to gain formal qualifications
