Salary Range of $92,342 to $95,320 Base (dependent on experience, skills and capabilities) plus 11% Superannuation + Smart Salary Packaging Benefit

The Opportunity: 

We are seeking a Senior Project Officer primarily required as Technical Lead for management of drug supply, database development, systems and forecasting in order to support other research operations on a large renal platform trial.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Leading documentation associated with sourcing, management, distribution and development
  • Developing project forecasting systems and tools
  • Developing administration processes and study tools including tracking
  • Completing ethics and regulatory applications and reporting
  • Training users on study technologies, systems and processes within TGI
  • Regularly updating tracking tools and systems as per required

 

Our Successful Candidate  

Essential

  • Tertiary qualifications in a health, science or research discipline or a combination of relevant experience and/ or education/ training
  • Significant experience in working on complex clinical drug trials including management of study drug and preparing ethics applications
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and problem solve
  • Ability to write technical documents of a high quality standard
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly competent with administration duties
  • Ability to work autonomously and well within a team with a wide range of stakeholders
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to be flexible in the face of changing organisational priorities and ambiguous environments

 

Desirable

  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience in adaptive platform trials
  • Good understanding of medical terminology
  • Experience teaching or training stakeholders
  • Good knowledge of clinical trial processes and ICH/GCP guidelines
  • Based in Sydney
