Salary Range of $77,937 to $85,000 Base (dependent on experience, skills and capabilities) plus 11% Superannuation + Smart Salary Packaging Benefit.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a professional and motivated Project Officer for our Medically Tailored Meals project who will be required to recruit and manage the day to day activities of the role.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Recruitment and screening of potential participants
Conducting informed consent
Scheduling and conducting participant visits
Electronic CRF completion and query management
Managing study intervention
Management of study supplies (BP monitors, scales)
Research administration including correspondence with stakeholders
Undertaking checks of pathology results and escalating to the medical monitor as required
Responding to queries generated by data management/statistics to ensure data quality
Coding of safety events, data completion & reconciliation.
Establishing and maintain study systems, trackers and processes.
Our Successful Candidate is:
Essential
Tertiary qualification in a health, science or research discipline or a combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
Experience in participant recruitment activities
Experience working on clinical research projects
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Highly competent with database administration and maintenance
Good database development skills or adept to learn e.g. REDCap
Ability to work autonomously, in small teams and with a wide range of stakeholders
Strong focus on quality of work and maintenance of excellent records
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in the face of changing organisational priorities and ambiguous environments
Desirable
Minimum 3 years of relevant post-graduation experience
Experience with type II diabetes and / or in dietetics related research
Good understanding of medical terminology
Familiarity with REDcap data management system
Good knowledge of clinical trial processes and ICH/GCP guideline
