The Full Time equivalent Base Salary for this role is $115,000 - $138,000 per annum (dependent on experience, skills and capabilities) plus 11.5% Superannuation + Smart Salary Packaging Benefit.
The Opportunity:
The George Institute for Global Health is a leading injury research centre. The Injury Division aims to improve the safety of men, women and children and optimize their care and rehabilitation the event of an injury. . A focus area in the Injury Division is drowning prevention across the globe, with particular focus across Australia, Africa and Asia. This includes an NHMRC funded project on implementation and policy research for drowning prevention in high burden populations.
The Research Fellow is required to play a key role in the ongoing conduct of existing studies, as well as leading and contributing to research outputs. The Research Fellow will drive a three-tiered project that seeks to improve access to drowning prevention interventions for disadvantaged populations in Australia. The role will involve data linkage and an emphasis on producing outputs.
