Competitive hourly rate of $52.48 to $60.37 per hour dependent dependent on experience, skills and capabilities.

We are seeking a Casual Research Assistant to support evidence synthesis on health systems aspects of a clinical topic

Key Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Conduct literature searches, screen studies,  and extract high quality data-
  • Assist with project tracking and documentation
  • Assist with planning and organising regular meetings
  • Assist with the preparation of study-related presentation materials
  • Support  preparation of reports and publications
  • Assist with the preparation of study-related presentation materials
  • Ad hoc project work as required

Skills, Knowledge and Experience/ Our Successful Candidate  

  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine or nursing with experience in being involved in any type of evidence synthesis (essential)
  • Preference will be given to those with master’s in public health(MPH), or are in final year of their MPH degree (or related field)
  • Excellent written language communication skills and ability to draft a wide range of documents
  • Having the ability to organize, take initiative and follow up independently
  • Methodical and systematic, with good attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and the Internet
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in the face of changing organizational priorities
  • Ability to work well within a research team and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong focus on quality of work.
