About the position

We currently have a vacancy for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Digital and Communications arm, based within the Marketing and Colour Team in Port Melbourne. 

This dynamic role will assist the Digital Marketing and Communications Manager to successfully deliver the Haymes Digital Marketing Strategy, which supports the work of the Product, Colour, Brand and Promotions teams.  The role will be involved with the development and execution of customer journeys, content creation, social media campaigns and scheduling, LAM digital campaigns, assisting in the management of digital campaigns, and broad analytical skills to measure the success of each channel.

It's an exciting time to join the Haymes Paint Marketing team with many large digital transformation projects planned.

The Haymes Digital Channels are aligned to the key brand messages of family and quality. The successfully candidate will be someone who understands these values, and how they can be translated through a genuine and inventive approach, to continue connecting with our target audience. 

Key skills of the role include:

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in marketing, specifically the digital space.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related discipline is mandatory.
  • Ability to manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube) and understand how to leverage them to deliver business objectives.
  • Ability to write succinct and relevant lifestyle and informative content for multiple digital channels.
  • Understanding of social media partnerships, and the value they bring to brands.
  • Ability to manage campaigns across several digital channels simultaneously.
  • Have experience working with marketing automation platforms.
  • Understanding of customer data segmentation.
  • Understand digital local area marketing initiatives.
  • Knowledge of customer journeys and lifecycle management.
  • Exposure working with digital and creative agencies.
  • Ability to build and present performance reports.
  • Understanding of CMS systems and social media monitoring systems is preferred but not essential.
  • Understanding of Google Analytics is preferred but not essential.
  • Understanding of CRM systems is preferred but not essential.

On top of this, we’re looking for someone who has high attention to detail, has a customer first view, is highly organised and loves working as team.
