Our diverse range of services allow people to choose to stay at home and receive assistance, downsize to a retirement living unit or move into one of our eight fully accredited residential facilities. Through our team of more than 1,400 staff, Helping Hand supports over 7,000 clients throughout metropolitan and regional South Australia.

We have a number of Residential Aged Care Facilities throughout Northern Metropolitan Adelaide including, Mawson Lakes, Ingle Farm, Parafield Gardens, Northgate and North Adelaide and are seeking passionate and experienced Registered Nurses for a variety of casual shifts.

Working closely with the other health professionals, our Registered Nurses deliver high quality nursing and personal care to our residents to assist to deliver an optimum level of independence and emotional care.

To be considered for these opportunities, it is essential you possess the following:

   / A Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent)

   / A Current AHPRA Registration

   / Minimum of 12 months working experience and previous experience in the Aged Care sector will be highly regarded

   / Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with a range of people including older people, staff, volunteers and visitors, particularly in relation to residents.

   / Excellent written communication skills including ability to interpret and use language confidently for learning and communicating, ability to write clear and concise care notes, complete charts and other organisational forms and understand written instructions.

   / Demonstrated organisational and time management skills and the ability to manage workload and a range of priorities.

   / The ability to work as part of a team.

   / The ability to relate and empathise with a diverse range of people.

   / The flexibility to adapt and change as our industry often requires.
