Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. We are currently looking for a NDIS Support Advisor to join our Gold Coast team. You can play an integral role in ensuring individualised services are developed and delivered to customers and support people in your community to live their best life possible.
The role:
The NDIS Support Advisor is responsible for coordinating the delivery of services to customers using a team of community support professionals and contractors.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Developing and managing customer service schedules, including service planning, confirmation and short notice placements and cancellations
- Preparing and transmitting schedules for customer services to support professionals
- Arranging replacement staff to cover leave and their planned or unplanned absences, shift changes and non-compliance services
- Ensuring Care Plans are followed by support staff and reviewed accordingly
- Meeting the specified and appropriate standards for the delivery of customer services
- Building Relationship with clients and stakeholders
- Ensuring appropriate information is provided and explained to customers at all times
- Managing communication with key stakeholders – both internally and externally
- Providing administrative assistance as required
- Ensuring compliance with all Just Better Care policies and procedures, statutory and contractual requirements in relation to management of service delivery
We are currently seeking:
- Relevant qualifications in Social, Welfare, Community or Disability field
- Rostering experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communications and negotiations skills
- Ability to work flexibly, with competing priorities, to respond to changing customers need
- Effective decision making skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective organisational and planning skills
- Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite
- Current criminal record check clearance and working with children check
- Drivers Licence & Own Vehicle (preferred)
What you will need:
- Experience working within the NDIS framework
- Current and satisfactory Federal Police Check
- Blue Card and Yellow Card (preferred)
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
