Just Better Care is a national provider of in-home aged care and disability support services, helping individuals live independently in their own homes. Our team is currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join us on a full-time basis.

About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred clinical care in the community. Your responsibilities may include:

Working collaboratively with medical practitioners and Allied Health professionals

Administering medication and providing complex clinical care (e.g., palliative care, catheter/stoma care, bowel care, oxygen therapy)

Monitoring customer wellbeing and reporting progress, including undertaking care assessments and developing care plans
-
Delivering care in accordance with Just Better Care’s policies, procedures, and relevant legislative/program guidelines (e.g., DVA Community Nursing)

Providing clinical training, guidance, and support to Enrolled Nurses, Community Support Professionals, Case Managers, and other support staff

Conducting skills assessments for staff performing complex care

Demonstrating commitment to best practice and ongoing professional development

Participating in team meetings and training sessions as needed

Visiting SIL (Supported Independent Living) houses for clinical check-ins and training sign-offs
What You'll Need:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or equivalent)

Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
-
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
-
NDIS Screening Card and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
-
Satisfactory National Police Check
-
Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
-
Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance preferred)

Smartphone with internet access
-
Proof of relevant vaccinations (e.g., COVID-19)

Desirable:
-
Previous experience in community care, aged care, or health sector
-
Knowledge of or experience with DVA Community Nursing guidelines
-
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
