Just Better Care is a national provider of in-home aged care and disability support services, helping individuals live independently in their own homes. Our team is currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join us on a full-time basis.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred clinical care in the community. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Working collaboratively with medical practitioners and Allied Health professionals

  • Administering medication and providing complex clinical care (e.g., palliative care, catheter/stoma care, bowel care, oxygen therapy)

  • Monitoring customer wellbeing and reporting progress, including undertaking care assessments and developing care plans

  • Delivering care in accordance with Just Better Care’s policies, procedures, and relevant legislative/program guidelines (e.g., DVA Community Nursing)

  • Providing clinical training, guidance, and support to Enrolled Nurses, Community Support Professionals, Case Managers, and other support staff

  • Conducting skills assessments for staff performing complex care

  • Demonstrating commitment to best practice and ongoing professional development

  • Participating in team meetings and training sessions as needed

  • Visiting SIL (Supported Independent Living) houses for clinical check-ins and training sign-offs


What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or equivalent)

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

  • NDIS Screening Card and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

  • Satisfactory National Police Check

  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence

  • Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance preferred)

  • Smartphone with internet access

  • Proof of relevant vaccinations (e.g., COVID-19)

  •  

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in community care, aged care, or health sector

  • Knowledge of or experience with DVA Community Nursing guidelines

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
