Jamie's Italian has taken off in Australia, and thanks to the rapid expansion of the brand across the country, we have an opportunity for talented Commis Chefs at our iconic Canberra venue. Jamie's Italian in Canberra is one of the city's busiest restaurants, representing one of the world's most famous chefs, serving Jamie's rustic dishes created using tried and tested recipes.
About the Role:
As a Commis Chef you will be exposed to the excitement of a busy kitchen, while being mentored by our senior chefs. As a Chef de Partie you will have oversight of a section within the kitchen in and out of service periods, assisting to direct and develop a brigade of apprentices, cooks and commis chefs. You will work closely with the floor team to share your knowledge and passion, ensuring the Jamie's brand is well cared for and the dishes leaving your pass are second to none.
About You:
You have a passion for all things Jamie Oliver and are not afraid of high volume! As a chef you have uncompromising food safety, hygiene and WHS standards and product integrity from sourcing through to serving.
