Key Assets – The Children's Services Provider is a dynamic not-for-profit community service organisation providing high quality, innovative out of home family and community based placements for children and young people with varying needs and behaviours. Established in 2007 our service has grown within the North and South Islands.
Key Assets has an exciting opportunity to join the friendly and inclusive team as the Business Support Manager based in the main office in Auckland.
About the role, as the Business Support Manager you will co-ordinate and manage Key Assets, administrative and business functions across the country in an effective and efficient manner.
This post will have sole responsibility for key financial and HR functions. This will include monitoring budgets and overseeing invoicing and payment systems of the agency, ensuring correct procedures are followed. You will attend and participate in management meetings, team meetings, training courses, supervision sessions and appraisals and take minutes of meetings as and when required.
You will also manage/oversee all aspects of office/administration functions and provide direct supervision and guidance to the Business Support Officer(s). The successful candidate will need to maintain high levels of confidentiality and be used to working with sensitive data. You will need to be a strong communicator and be a key liaison with our Shared Services staff based in Brisbane.
Experience and Skills Required
- Bring high energy, enthusiasm and a passion for the role
- Be able to work autonomously and have excellent problem solving skills
- Have experience managing an office setting
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications; Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and database systems
- Experience of devising and implementing Quality Assurance Systems and maintaining policies and procedures
- Demonstrable customer care experience
Some experience in working within a welfare/care environment is desirable.
Have experience with managing budgets and petty cash systems, and knowledge of other financial functions would be an advantage.
Statutory and MSD checks will also need to be satisfactorily completed as part of our recruitment process

ELIGIBILTY (for AUS and or NZ Vacancies): To be eligible for consideration you must be either an Australian/ New Zealand Citizen /Resident residing within the country of the advertised position at the time of application. HOURS: 'Casual' - Hours are needs based. Hours are also not consistent / regular. Full Time 40 hrs/wk flexibility required due to travel (as you will work within the community)
