About the Role

To manage treasury and commercial related activities and analytics. To design, implement and deliver capital and liquidity management solutions central to maintaining LDK’s balance sheet. Working closely with senior stakeholders and team members this position will provide consistent, high quality financial information to the business, and design and build tools to measure impacts, identify drivers and influence the direction of change within LDK.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your responsibilities will be to maintain and develop the following key areas:

  1. Financial Accounting
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for loans, Investment Property, and inter entity accounts
  • Transact inter-entity funding or fees for LDK Corporate
  • Processing movements in all Cromwell and external loans including interest accruals
  • Assist with end of month reporting and forecasting
  • Managing the workflow and development of your staff
  1. Payroll
  • Running the centralised Payroll function, with input from Village Finance Representatives, and support from People & Culture
  1. Year end audit
  • Work with Group Financial Controller to facilitate the audit process with appointed auditors
  1. Settlements and Exit Statements
  • Work with the Group Financial Controller to review and approve all Exit and Settlement Statements
  • Process settlements within finance system
  • Prepare monthly Property Settlement Reconciliations and maintain Resident registers for Statutory reporting purposes

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Commerce
  • Post tertiary qualification (CPA, CA, CIMA)
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior finance, commerce or business role
  • Must have a background working in Top or Second Tier Chartered Accounting firms
  • Thorough knowledge of governance and risk management principles and practices; accounting, annual financial statements, audit process; financial modelling, data analysis, charting and related reporting
  • Understand of and experience in corporate finance transactions
  • Very high level of competence with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheeting
  • Ability to anticipate needs and develop/implement strategies accordingly
  • Project, budget and resource management skills
