Our village in Tuggeranong, LDK Greenway Views is currently seeking a Casual Chef to join our Hospitality Team. We are looking for someone to work Monday/Tuesday & Fridays. Our supportive working environment provides many growth opportunities and allows a great work life balance - with no requirement to work split shifts.

Duties as Chef at LDK Greenway Views include but are not limited to:

• Portioning, presenting and serving food to our residents and customers
• Preparing food items such as sandwiches and salads
• Providing a high standard of customer service at all times and undertaking duties in accordance to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Using and maintaining all kitchen equipment in an appropriate manner
• General pantry duties including handling, storing, and distributing a variety of goods
• Picking, labelling, and dispatching goods in accordance with orders made
• Assisting in the maintenance of stock levels

 If successful in your application, you will provide a range of comprehensive kitchen duties and assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in cooking a range of meals.

About You

Qualifications/Certificates

• Cert III in Commercial Cookery or a higher hospitality qualification
• Food Safety Certification (required)
• Proven, hands-on cooking experience with referees available
• Buffet and bulk production experience
• À la carte experience
• Awareness of the dietary requirements of the elderly (desirable)
